Irene Guerrero's Levante beat Athletic Club (4-0) in Buñol to secure their place in next season's UEFA Champions League. It had been twelve years since the team had last competed in Europe. This will be the fourth time that the Valencian side will be present in the continental competition: 2001-02, 2002-03, 2008-09 and now 2021-22.
