Pablo Moreno, player represented by Promoesport, has signed as a new player for CS Marítimo of the Liga Portugal Bwin. The 20-year-old striker joins the Madeiran club after spending the last two seasons on loan at LaLiga Smartbank team Girona, where he was loaned out by Manchester City. The Granada-born forward signs until 2024 with the "verde-rubros", but the Sky Blues reserve an option to buy him back in the future.
Pablo Moreno was formed in La Masia of FC Barcelona, where he arrived at the age of 11. In his 5 years as a youth player, he scored more than 200 goals, a spectacular figure, which caught the attention of Juventus, for whom he signed in 2018. He spent two seasons in Italy. He first landed in the U-17s, but was quickly promoted to the U-19s, with whom he played in the Primavera championship and the UEFA Youth League.
In the summer of 2020 he signed for Manchester City, who loaned him to Girona, a competitive team that aspired to promotion to LaLiga Santander, a goal that was finally achieved this past June. As a blanc-i-vermell, the Andalusian player has played a total of 45 official matches between LaLiga Smartbank, Copa del Rey and the promotion play-offs.
