The race for promotion to Primera

As LaLiga Hypermotion draws to a close, the three teams who will be promoted next season will be revealed.

The players, Juan Cruz of Leganés; José Corpas, Cristian Gutiérrez and Stoichkov of Eibar; Salvi Sánchez, Edu Expósito, Brian Oliván and Omar El Hilali of RCD Espanyol; Jonathan Dubasin, Alex Millán and Luis Miguel Sánchez of Real Oviedo; Guille Rosas of Sporting Gijón, represented by Promoesport, are still in the fight for promotion with their clubs for next season.

Leganes are second with 68 points and must face Sporting Gijon (L), Racing Ferrol (V) and will close against Elche at home. Eibar are in third place with 65 points and have these games remaining: against Cartagena (L), then a visit to Sporting Gijón and finally at home to Oviedo, who are also looking to qualify for the playoffs.

In fourth place is RCD Espanyol, the club has five draws in a row and next weekend they host Oviedo at home, then visit Amorebieta and will have the opportunity to close at home to Cartagena. The Barcelona side have 62 points.

Real Oviedo are just one point behind Espanyol, with whom they play next. After that, they will host FC Andorra, and will define their points tally when they visit Eibar.

Finally, Sporting Gijón are currently seventh and have 59 points. They will need to get as many points as possible to get into the top six and into the playoffs. To do so, they will face Leganés (V), at home to Eibar and will close their campaign with a visit to CD Eldense.
