With Lakomy's assist, Young Boys become champions in Switzerland

//

The attacker Lukasz Lakomy, represented by Promoesport, is proclaimed champion of the Swiss Super League with Young Boys and they reach the 17th title in their history.

After the last match played by the Bernese team against Servette FC away, the win by the minimum difference allows them to celebrate a new crown today. It was not until the 73rd minute that the win came for the ‘Negriamarillos’ thanks to Lakomy's assist, who was in charge of taking the corner kick that ended in a goal.

With this victory, Young Boys managed to pull nine points clear of Lugano and reach 74 points, so that mathematically no team would be able to catch them. The 23-year-old played 75 minutes, made 46 touches and had a 61% passing accuracy rate, two of them key. Over the course of the season, the Pole was present in 28 games, scored two goals and made four assists.

With this title, Lukasz now has two trophies to his name, his first being the Polish league title with Legia Warsaw in 2020.
