El Diario AS and the consultancy firm Above Sport organised a debate with the participation of several of the most important agents of representation in the country. José Rodríguez Baster, Founder and Football Director of Promoesport, took part to analyse the current situation of the representation industry, as well as the new regulations to be implemented by FIFA on 1 January 2022.

Rodri's more than 20 years of experience in the field and the more than 2,000 operations that Promoesport have carried out allowed him to participate in the event as a proven professional with the ability to visualise how the new regulation may affect the future of football, as far as representation agencies are concerned.
Other issues were also discussed, such as the exposure of the Promoesport brand on social networks, the code of ethics that Promoesport has developed internally or the current trend that places family members as representatives of professional players, among other current issues.
José Rodríguez Baster emphasised the need for qualified professionals to be in charge of operations and the importance of good practices when assisting professional players in the search for appropriate development of their sporting career.
